Hello, 1A Families! Due to the short week, this blog will serve as our weekly news update! We only had three days this week, but were able to squeeze in some great learning. Here are a few things you can ask your child about...

Yay! It's Friday and the sun is shining. Word out on the street is that we may finally get some snow this weekend. I'm actually a little excited! We had a great week in 1A. Today the APG brought back Johnny the K. He taught the students about character and responsibility through silly songs. Plus, he wear a different crazy hat for each song. He really is a hoot! Check out some pics from today...
Today the students learned about a new type of graph. You can probably tell by the first picture below! It's the bar graph. They had a blast graphing the super power they wish they had-being able to fly was the winner!
In case you hadn't heard...Macy is our Queen Bee this week. She is in her glory, as presenting and sharing to the class are her passions. I can definitely see this lovely lady in a Broadway production some day! Today she shared some great pictures and her three favorite things.
It's officially Pats time! My daughter isn't feeling too hot, so I'm watching the game with her while my husband and boys are next door. It's kind of nice. I get to concentrate on the game and work on my website. Multitasking is a must for a busy mom and teacher! Let's go Patriots! Did not think the Seahawks were going to pull that game off. Wow! That was wild! Well, let's hope the Patriots will see them there!!!!
Hi! It's me...Mrs. Abrahams! I am so excited to get this website and blog up and running. I hope I can find time to visit often and keep you posted on what is happening in 1A. We sure do work hard and have a lot of fun, so it would be great to share that with all of you. See you soon!
